US defense officials have downplayed China's new Xi'an H-20 bomber in interviews with reporters this past Monday describing the aircraft as "not really" a concern. Without going into any detail, the same officials make the claim that the system design of the H-20 is "nowhere near as good" as the US stealth aircrafts. The H-20 bomber looks to be China's answer to Northrup Grumman's B-21 Raider which made is public debut late last year. The debut was followed quickly by Chinese engineers and spokespersons pointing out supposed flaws in the production timelines, as well as highlighting simulation findings indicating that Chinese air defenses would be able to track and down US B-21 Raiders.
